WABH started on-site in 2016 and has bought its wealth of experience of residential construction delivery to the project. The project consists of 571 apartments and includes shops, restaurant and extensive new public realm. The first residents have moved in and phase two is currently on the way.

Middlewood Locks Phase 1

WABH completes first phase £1 billion Middlewood Locks.

Designed by Michael John Architects, the scheme is creating neighborhood Salford and it will bring many benefits to the regional economy.

External works are included within the individual plot information. Works include a new unadopted road to adoptable standards with a landscaped podium on each plot. The main construction methods include pile foundations and ground floors / podium concrete stab, insitu concrete frame and various façade materials including traditional brickworks which varies in type from plot to plot and rainscreen cladding.

Phase 2 of the Middlewood Locks development is the construction of 4 new build PRS residential blocks with a total of 546 units at Middlewood Locks, Salford. The new accommodation will be constructed on two separate plots with each block ranging from eight to eleven storeys

WABH is the main contractor for Moda’s £90 Million Lexington build-to-rent development funded by Apache Capital Partners, overlooking Liverpool waterfront recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. The Lexington names after its New York-inspired design – is the first part of peel Group’s £5.5 billion Liverpool waters regeneration. 

This stunning landmark development includes an iconic 34-storey tower, comprising of 365 stylish units with ground-breaking residents amenities tailored to build-to-rent market.

The building comes complete with a 17th floor sky lounge, residents roof terrace, health and wellbeing facilities. The Lexington sets the new standards for high quality, contemporary living in Liverpool.
